concrete & glass, barbican, london

Going back to May 2017 I went to London with a group of photographers lead by Tony Bramley to photograph Brutalist Architecture, mainly at The Barbican but visiting a couple of other locations as well as 'The South Bank'.

I used two of the images as part of my 'Pictures at an Exhibition' Show last year, but the folder remained largely unedited.

Earlier this yearI hit on the idea of using the images for an online '3D' Exhibition to be titled Concrete & Glass. two of my favourite photographic subjects. I dowloaded some excellent software by Kuntsmatrix in Berlin, but sadly the project didn't get off the ground.

Today I have revisited the folder and finally edited my favourites from the day.

I can remember going home early because of the raging toothache (a sign of things to come) and having the misfortune to get stuck next to some rather unsavoury characters collectively know as 'Roadmen' on the train home.

I hope you enjoy the images.
